Ro from Scrap Girls (www.scrapgirls.com) suggested that we go out and try something strange and unusual. Sounds like fun. Now, I just need to figure out what that might be and do it. Any ideas???
On another note... My question mark is broken. :o(
The key on my keyboard snapped off and part of the hindge broke. Now all I have is a little rubber nub where the key used to be. Make it really hard to ask a question.
Happy weekend ahead!!!

The Baby Dance...
So I was watching Juno with my 5 yr old daughter, "The Ladybug", when she starts asking questions.
Ladybug: "Why is Juno peeing on that stick?"
Me: "It's a test to see if she's pregnant.
Ladybug: "Is she pregnant?"
Me: "Yes, honey. She is."
Ladybug: "Is she sad?"
Me: "Yes, she is."
Ladybug: "Why is she sad? Doesn't she want to have the baby?"
Me: "No honey, she doesn't. She's too young and still in high school."
Ladybug: "Then why is she going to have a baby? How did she get the baby if she didnt' want one?"
Me: Silence... "Well honey, she did a special Baby Dance and that's how she got the baby. That's why you should never do the Baby Dance until you are out of college and ready to have a baby."
Ladybug: "That sounds like fun, a Baby Dance. I don't want to do it because I don't want to have a baby, but I'd like to know how to do it. I promise not to do it if you tell me how."
Me: (*Sh!t*) "That's a talk we will have when you are 11, maybe 12. I don't think you're ready to know about the Baby Dance just yet."
Ladybug: "OK, Mommy." silence... "Is it something you do by yourself?"
Me: "No. There needs to be a man and a lady to do the Baby Dance."
Ladybug: "I won't do the baby dance with any boys. I'll just walk with them."
Me: "Ok, baby. Walking is fine."

Lost In Blog Land
I've spent the last few days surfing and surfing and surfing. I've found some of the BEST blogs out there. Well, they're the best if you like crafty stuff. I've found a ton of things that I plan to make, and a few that I wish I could make. I've picked up a few creative ideas, too. I'll post pictures soon and links to these wonderful sites.

My Bumble Bee
My precious little Bumble Bee has a fever. The only thing she ate today was a banana and she said it made her want to throw up. She slept off and on today but seemed fine. She laid down today around 4:00 and slept until 9:00. Hubby went to check on her and found her burning up. Poor little thing. But she was in a great mood, laughing and joking around. I gave her tylenol and told her to go back to sleep. I can't figure it out because she has no other symptoms other than a fever. Hopefully she will be better tomorrow.

Age
Well, I broke down and bought eye glasses. Not the prescription kind but the reading kind. I had my eyes tested a couple of years ago but the doctor said my eyes were fine. So why do I find it difficult to see small print? Or should I say, not so small print. The glasses really help while surfing, too. And as my hubby says, I spend more time surfing the web than anything else I do. So I guess I'll be living in these things. They're pretty cool though. I bought eco friendly glasses. They're made out of recycled material. They're green and black and I love them. My Bumble Bee says they make me look funny.
On another note, I totally love Denny from Grey's Anatomy. I'm so glad he's back, even if he's dead. I wish he was mine. He's wonderful. Can I have him? Please?!?

Westie Fever
I was shopping at my local yarn shop (www.theknittingnest.com) a few weeks ago and met the cutest dog. His name is Hank. He is a Westie.
Needless to say, I fell in love. I decided that I had to have one. So I sat down at my puter and googled Westies.
I decided to contact Westie Rescue to see if there were any Westies in my area needing a good home. I was told that Westies do not do well with children under the age of 8.
Fooey! My Lady Bug is 5 but is very mature for her age. I know she would do well with any dog, if she was even interested in interacting with one. She's really not much of a pet person. My Bumble Bee on the other hand, is very much a pet person. She's only 3 and likes to play rough with our cat. She often gets bit by the cat while playing rough. They both give as good as they take. So, I decided to wait until my Bumble Bee is a little older before we got a dog.
But I keep seeing Westie's everywhere. And I REALLY want one. So, if you have a Westie and a child under the age of 8, please let me hear from you.
I'd like to know how your dog gets along with your child. How does our child get along with your dog? I REALLY WANT A WESTIE!!!

It's Launch Time!
It's been a whole year since I bought this site and I've yet to do anything with it. Talk about procrastination!
Actually, I've been pretty busy being a mom and a wife, but I promise to do better this year and make some time for my little piece of the cyber world. Who knows, I might even get somebody to read this thing!
I'm happy to announce that I will be launching my etsy store real soon. I promise not to wait a whole year to do this. I have a few Rapunzel scarves to sell. I've selfishly claimed a couple for myself already. I'll post pictures here in a day or two.
I'll also be giving one lucky reader a FREE scarf. Stay tuned for details!
Hugs and Love!
